It was a family day out to see the Blackpool illuminations
on a cold November Saturday in 1988 that I purchased my first copy of Starburst
Magazine featuring an article on Doctor Who's latest adventure "Remembrance
of the Daleks". Twenty Six years
later Starburst Magazine is still running strong and boasts four regular
podcasts including the Time lord focused Blue Box Podcast.
For the last eighteen months I've been hindering the well
thought out conversations of Master of Ceremonies J.R.Southall and his co-conspirators
with cheap innuendo and bad jokes. So
imagine my surprise when J.R. asked myself and fellow hindermiesters AL No and Doc Whome to appear on The Blue Box
Podcast.
Perhaps J.R. thought letting us on the podcast would mute
our cheek when we experienced the difficulty of trying to talk for an hour on
Doctor Who so others don't have to, or just maybe he read between the lines of
our emails and saw the genuine love and passion for a programme that brings us
all together.
